NYSC Training Continues (2014 Batch B) | Blog

Fisher Foundation for Sustainable Development in Africa has successfully trained 100 National Youth Corps Members of the 2014 Batch B Set in Imo State on Entrepreneurship Development and Fish Farming. This is in line with its youth empowerment initiative for recent graduates in Nigeria, which started with the 2014 Batch A corps members as first beneficiaries.

The one week and three days long training took place at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Umudi, Imo State between  11th - 22nd of August, 2014. At least 100 corp members participated, learning valuable agricultural skills such as (catfish) fish farming, hatching, poultry farming, amongst other miscellaneous capacity building topics.

The final event was marked with an exhibition of products produced by the Corps Members.
