Making Entrepreneurial Women | Blog

For over 2 years the Fisher Foundation's Making Entrepreneur project has been providing teenagers and youths with relevant business skills required to thrive in today's fast-paced world. Beneficiaries are mentored in the idea development process, taught how to pitch and write business plans, and subsequently exposed to opportunities such as competitions, grants; inorder to actualise their dreams.

The foundation has decided  to mould the Making Entrepreneur Project for non-literate women in its communities of operation. So far, 20 unemployed women and low income earners in Ihiagwa and Eziobodo communities of Owerri-West, Imo State have been trained in fish farming.

We have also initiated a micro credit scheme through which we plan to assist small scale business start-up or expand their businesses. We promise to keep you updated as we put smiles on the faces of others.
