EH2SMILE (Empower Her To Smile) is the tag of the second phase of the Fisher Foundation's StainlessSmile Programme.The StainlessSmile Programme is a preventive health promotion project aimed at helping people have increased oral health awareness, motivate behavioral change, individually and collectively take concrete positive steps towards guarding against preventable diseases and accessing quality health care. We innovatively combine cutting edge techniques and behavioral change strategies by applying the simplest and most efficient approach effective for our target beneficiaries in other to help them take responsibility of their health, and improve their standard of living by taking small preventive health actions that make big differences.

This second phase tagged EH2SMILE (Empower Her To Smile) was specially designed to target women during the 2014 annual august meeting, leveraging on their ability to influence and drive health and human behaviour in the society starting from their immediate families through their various communities.

This programme a one day sensitization and awareness program bothering on hand hygiene with special emphasis on the prevention of the Ebola virus, nutrition, Hiv/Aids awareness and screening and entrepreneurial sensitization reached over 240 women in the emekuku community in Imo state. Powered by Fisher Foundation for Sustainable Development in Africa. This program brought together the Catholic Relief Srevices, Cadbury Nigerian Plc, Berliok aquatics and volunteers from Enactus Futo as partners to facilitate the successful implementation of this second phase. We aren’t stopping here, plans are underway to begin the fish farming empowerment training for all the women that indicated interest as well assist already existing farmer revive and boost their own fish farms. This we believe will practically assist the women to improve their standard of living and in turn take responsibility of their health and that of the communities they thrive in.
